Now it's time to get excited!
What sort of things could you put in your parcel?
• Treats for a baker • Stationery for a writer • Craft supplies for a maker • A print for a photo taker
Something to pamper themselves • Sweet or savoury nibbles • Pop to your local charity shop and find a bargain •
Upcyle something you already have • Something to drink, something to share
Anything that shows you care.
Remember the guide is £5.
If you have any allergies please note them in the likes and interests box in the sign up form.
If you can't eat dairy the last thing you want is a box of chocolates!
When will you receive your surprise partner?
Sign ups are now closed.
The project is open worldwide.
Parcels need to be sent to ensure that everyone receives theirs by Monday 29th February 2016.
Partners will be allocated on Monday 8th February. Thank you for being patient!
If you are happy to send a parcel to someone outside the UK or your home country and your partner lives abroad, you will need to send your parcel earlier to allow for international shipping times.
Make sure you get a proof of posting from the Post Office (Just in case!)
Can you share photos of your parcel and what you receive?
If you want to share what is in your parcel, when you send it and what you receive, blog it - hooray! That would be wonderful.
Share your photos with #wintertimesurpriseproject so we can all see them.
I will add you to my new Capture by Lucy newsletter that starts in February, but you can unsubscribe at any time.
This project is all about kindness. So it's very disappointing when people sign up and let their partner down. Remember if you sign up to be part of the project you are making a commitment to send a parcel. So please, if for any reason you will unable to carry on with the project after you sign up, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and I can reassign your partner.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE sign up in good faith. Each project I have hosted there are a handful whose partners let them down. PLEASE don't be one of those people!
Thank you and happy swapping!
